The welcome reception is hosted by the City of Stockholm in the Stockholm City Hall to honour the conference delegates.
The Stockholm City Hall, situated in the heart of Stockholm city, is probably the city’s most famous landmark with its 106-meter-high tower. It is the home of the Municipal Council, and also the host of hundreds of events and celebrations each year. The most famous event hosted in the City Hall is the world-famous Nobel Prize Banquet, which is held each year on December 10 in the magnificent Blue Hall.
The reception organized for the IDS13 International Conference 2026 is free of charge.
Registration is required and personal (is made in the conference registration) and you will have to bring a ticket to the reception, which is provided upon arrival at the conference.
Please note: The ticket is personal. If you do not plan to attend, please return your ticket at the registration desk as soon as possible.
A host from the city welcomes you, then a standing dinner buffet or drinks and canapés are offered.
You will get a speech from a city representative, a light buffet and drinks.

Cost: No cost, but pre-registration is mandatory if you want to attend.
Restrictions: No large bags and backpacks, children are not allowed.
